Dear AMDSB staff, students and families,
As the first day of school approaches, we - your Chair of the Board of Trustees and Director of Education - are thrilled to welcome both our returning students and staff, as well as those who are new to our system. We hope your summer was filled with fun, adventure and time with friends and family. Excitement is in the air as our team prepares our buildings for another fantastic year ahead!
Each year, we create a plan that aligns with our multi-year Strategic Plan, grounded in our unwavering dedication to equity. This plan highlights our focus on serving each individual student in our system and ensuring that they receive the best possible educational opportunities.
As we strive to address any disparities and create a supportive environment where every student has the chance to succeed, we look to our parents and caregivers as partners. It takes our unbelievably committed staff, our families and our community partners to work together to build school communities where everyone is welcomed, valued, included and empowered, and where every learner can thrive.
We look forward to witnessing the amazing efforts of our staff as they engage, inspire and innovate.
