The Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) is officially launching its 2026-2030 Strategic Plan. Grounded in a commitment to supporting every learner across the district, the multi-year plan outlines a vision where every student in every school experiences a strong, positive learning environment, a sense of belonging, and a meaningful connection to their community.
The 2026-2030 Strategic Plan focuses on three core pillars:
WE ARE PREPARED: Ensuring every student is learning, progressing, and developing the essential skills needed for their future success.
WE ARE WELL: Creating safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments where everyone experiences a sense of well-being and safety.
WE ARE ENGAGED: Connecting students, families, and communities to AMDSB schools through transparent communication and trusted partnerships.
"Our new strategic plan represents our shared commitments and highest aspirations for AMDSB students over the next four years," said Michael Bannerman, Chair of the Board. "By focusing on preparation, well-being, and community engagement, we are ensuring that our schools remain spaces where every child feels supported, inspired, and empowered to succeed."
