This summer, a group of ambitious AMDSB students participated in the x-Labs Biomedical Sciences Program at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, an exceptional opportunity that immersed them in real-world biomedical research environments typically reserved for university-level learners.

The Avon Maitland District School Board is looking for a qualified third-party contractor to provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for a Deaf or hard-of-hearing student at Bedford Public School.

This vital role supports equitable access to education and helps foster an inclusive learning environment.

At the June 23 Special Board Meeting, trustees passed a motion to move Grade 7 and 8 students from the Listowel Eastdale PS and North Perth Westfield ES attendance areas to Listowel District SS beginning September 2026.
